Scientific Research

Scientific research represents the core mission of the Laboratory “Morocco and the Mediterranean Countries: Civilizational, Political and Cultural History.” The laboratory is dedicated to the production of historical knowledge and the advancement of studies related to Morocco’s history and its Mediterranean and African environments through interdisciplinary approaches combining history, archaeology, and heritage studies.

The laboratory promotes both individual and collective research by supervising doctoral theses, supporting research projects, organizing conferences and scientific meetings, and participating in national and international research programs.
